Akın Şakar

Akın Şakar is an accomplished sales and business development professional with extensive experience in the logistics and export sectors. Currently serving as the Country Sales Manager at AJEX since March 2023, Akın leads the establishment and management of express cargo operations from Turkiye to GCC countries. Prior experience includes co-founding and managing Export Business Development Projects as a Managing Partner at Redepp from March 2019 to February 2023. Akın spent over a decade at UPS, holding positions such as Country Business Development Manager, Area Sales Manager, and Account Executive, where responsibilities included overseeing all business development and sales activities in Turkiye. Akın holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus on Political Science and International Relations from Sakarya University, completed in January 2004.
