Marta Wiktoria S. Syrstad, LL.M. has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Marta Wiktoria began their career as an Intern at Hammond Law Group, LLC, where they conducted research on German corporate, civil, and insolvency law. Marta Wiktoria also drafted client notes, legal memoranda, and documents for client meetings.

Following this, Marta worked as an Intern at Baker McKenzie and Clifford Chance, gaining further experience in the legal field. At Linklaters, they served as an Intern in corporate and real estate advisory, assisting in drafting service agreements and structuring property acquisitions for a global supermarket chain.

Marta then joined Noerr as an Associate, where they worked on various legal matters until 2017. Marta Wiktoria subsequently joined BNP Paribas as a Due Diligence Officer and Controller, before transitioning to AK Jensen Group Limited, where they served as a Hedge Fund Specialist Legal. In this role, they provided legal advisory services to hedge funds and supervised a regulated portfolio management company.

In 2019, Marta took on the position of Company Secretary at both AKJ Crypto plc and Platform Hedge Funds. Marta Wiktoria played a crucial role in managing legal responsibilities for these organizations.

More recently, Marta joined AK Jensen Norway AS as a Director in November 2020.

Throughout their career, Marta has consistently demonstrated their legal expertise and ability to handle diverse responsibilities within the legal and financial sectors.

Marta Wiktoria S. Syrstad, LL.M. completed their education with a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from the University of Oslo (UiO) in 2015. Prior to that, they obtained the degree of Attorney at law (Adwokat) from the Polish Bar Association from 2010 to 2013. Marta Wiktoria also pursued studies at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin from 2007 to 2008, focusing on law and linguistics. Marta Wiktoria S. Syrstad earned their first Master's degree in Law from the University of Warsaw, which they attended from 2003 to 2008. Additionally, they obtained a second Master's degree in Linguistics (German and English language) from the University of Warsaw between 2004 and 2009. Marta Wiktoria S. Syrstad has further enhanced their qualifications by obtaining certifications as an EØS-Advokat (Qualified Lawyer) from The Norwegian Bar Association in February 2019 and as an Adwokat (Qualified Lawyer) from The Polish Bar Association in April 2014.
