Ryan Greer

Ryan Greer has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Ryan started their career in 1999 as a cofounder and producer at Kinetic Dance Theater, a position they held until 2010. In 2000, they worked as an editorial intern at the Chicago Reader. Additionally, they served as an assistant professor at Columbia College Chicago from 2000 to 2001.

In 2001, Ryan joined Media Transcripts as a media manager for a year.

In 2009, they became a senior account executive at Art Meets Commerce, a digital shop that later merged with Serino/Coyne, which was eventually purchased by Omnicom Group. During their time at Art Meets Commerce, Ryan played a key role in developing the agency into a full-service advertising agency. Ryan handled a range of responsibilities, including negotiating vendor/partner relationships, leading media planning and buying operations, and presenting and pitching for new business. Ryan managed digital and full-service accounts for Broadway, arts organizations, and special events. Ryan worked at Art Meets Commerce until 2011.

From 2011 to 2013, Ryan worked at Serino Coyne, Inc. as a digital content project manager, associate creative director, and senior account executive. Ryan gained 10 years of experience collaborating on all aspects of campaigns for major theatrical brands. Their responsibilities included media planning and implementation, budget creation and maintenance, creative development and copy, and project management. Ryan also oversaw cross-client content workflow and team productivity, as well as the management of full websites from initial estimate to completion, ongoing CMS, and analytics reporting.

In 2013, Ryan joined AKA NYC as the director of digital strategy and media activation. Ryan held the role of group director of digital strategy and media activation for a brief period within the same year. As part of their responsibilities, Ryan led digital strategy and media activation for the company.

Ryan Greer attended Columbia College Chicago from 1995 to 1999, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Musical Theater, Direction, and Choreography.
