Lene B. Oddershede

Lene B. Oddershede is a prominent figure in the fields of natural and technical sciences, currently serving as Senior Vice President and Head of Natural and Technical Sciences and Interdisciplinarity at the Novo Nordisk Foundation since December 2018. Additionally, Lene holds the position of Chairman of the Board at Quantum Foundry Copenhagen and is an active member of the World Economic Forum's Global Future Council on the Future of Quantum Economy. As a member of both the Danish Academy of Technical Sciences and the Royal Danish Academy of Sciences and Letters, Lene possesses a distinguished academic background, having been a Professor and Associate Professor at the Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen since May 2003. Lene earned a PhD in Physics from Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark, following a Studentereksamen in mathematics and science from Odense Katedralskole.
