Erik Florman

Erik Florman is an experienced sustainability leader with significant roles in various organizations focused on sustainable development and project management. Currently serving as the Director of Sustainability at Akademiska Hus since May 2022, Erik is dedicated to creating sustainable and attractive campuses, aiming for net-zero emissions by 2040. As the founder of Cleanblocks, Erik is advancing blockchain solutions for sustainable business practices. Previously, Erik held the position of Head of Sustainability at Kungsleden, where efforts were made towards climate positivity by 2035. Erik's extensive background also includes leadership roles at Skanska, where sustainability support was provided for projects across Stockholm and Northern Sweden, as well as experience in landscape architecture with significant projects in Abu Dhabi. Erik holds a BA in Landscape Architecture from SLU, alongside multiple executive education credentials from Harvard University and a LEED AP BD+C certification.
