Perry Kalmus

Co-Founder at AKALA

Perry Kalmus has held a variety of roles in the technology and education industries. In 2003, they were the COO of The Princeton Education Network, a company focused on innovation in the art of teaching and revolution in the art of learning. In 2005, they were the VP of Awesome and VP of Nothing at United Talent Agency. In 2009, they co-founded DrinksCity, a marketing platform for alcohol companies, and in 2011 they founded the same company. In 2015, they co-founded AKALA, Inc., an Ed-Tech startup focused on College Admissions and College Readiness, and in 2017 they co-founded Equity In Access, a company on a mission to give every student access to high-quality college admissions guidance.

Perry Kalmus attended West Windsor Plainsboro High School from 1995 to 1996, followed by The Lawrenceville School from 1996 to 1999. Perry then went on to Williams College, where they earned a BA in Economics and Education in 2003.
