Jeremiah Thompson

Jeremiah Thompson is a seasoned professional in information security with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving as Senior Director Information Security for the Public Sector at Akamai Technologies since July 2025, Thompson also held the position of Vice President, IT & Cloud Solutions at 38North Security from March 2021 to July 2025, where Jeremiah progressed through roles such as Senior Director and Director of Cloud Security Architecture. Prior experience includes roles at Coalfire as Director and Senior Manager, Lead Information Security Compliance Auditor at Leidos Biomedical Research, Inc., Information Security Compliance Lead at IBM, and Information Assurance Manager for USAMRIID at Ke' Aki Technologies. Thompson earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Liberty University between 2005 and 2010.
