Mark Barron

Mark Barron is an experienced entrepreneur and executive with a robust background in network technology and business development. Currently an entrepreneur at Exponential Convergence since January 2018, Mark has held various leadership roles at Akamai Technologies, Inc. since May 2000, including Vice President for Networks in Asia-Pacific Japan and Senior Director for both Network Business Development and Asia-Pacific Network Strategy. Mark's earlier career includes positions at Novell as a Business Development Manager for Internet Products, Cisco Systems as a Sales Executive, Digital Equipment Corporation as a Product Marketing Manager, and Telstra as a Network Software Manager. Mark holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science from RMIT University, attended from 1977 to 1979.
