William True

William True, P.E. is an accomplished engineering management professional with extensive experience in data center architecture and management. Currently serving as Director of Data Center Architecture at Akamai Technologies since October 2016, William oversees capital projects, financial modeling, and the refinement of data center standards, along with architectural design and operations for mission-critical facilities. Previously, William held the position of Principal at Jacobs Engineering Group, focusing on mission-critical program management, and served as Vice President of Engineering at Devonshire Investors International, managing investments across various sectors including data centers and telecommunications. William also has experience as Senior Engineering Manager at Carlson Design Construct, where large-scale projects for Fortune 100 clients were executed. William holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, obtained in 1986.
