Sagar Naik

Sagar Naik has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Sagar is currently the Vice President of Commercial & Sales at Akasa Air since June 2022. Prior to this, Sagar held the position of Head of International Sales at IndiGo from June 2019 to June 2022. Previously, they worked at Jet Airways, where they served in various roles and capacities. These include General Manager of Commercial Strategy from January 2017 to May 2019, Deputy General Manager of Commercial Strategy from October 2014 to December 2016, Regional Sales Manager and Country Manager for Singapore from October 2010 to September 2014, and Manager of Revenue Optimization within the Revenue Management Department from April 2005 to September 2010. Sagar also held the role of Team Leader at Zero Octa Selective Sourcing India Pvt. Ltd from April 2002 to February 2005.

Sagar Naik obtained an MBA with a specialization in Marketing from SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) from 2006 to 2009. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Financial Accounting & Auditing from the University of Mumbai from 1998 to 2001. Additionally, Sagar Naik has completed various certifications, including a Leadership Development Programme from the Indian School of Business (obtained year: 2021) and certifications in Airline Management Integration, Airline Finance and Accounting Management, and Diploma in Compact Travel & Tourism from International Air Transport Association (IATA) and IHCTM respectively.
