Suresh Kumar

Suresh Kumar is an experienced aviation professional currently serving as the General Manager of EIS at Akasa Air since September 2021. Prior to this role, Suresh held the position of Vice President of Engineering Projects at flybig Airlines, focusing on aircraft leasing, contracts, and line maintenance from March to December 2020. Suresh's extensive experience in the aviation industry also includes a long tenure at Jet Airways from October 1997 to July 2019, where Suresh served as Fleet Chief and Head of Technical at the Maintenance Control Center, as well as functioning as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer. Suresh holds a Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering from Nehru College of Aeronautics & Applied Sciences and is currently pursuing a B Tech in Aeronautics Engineering from Karnataka State Open University, alongside training at the International Aviation Lease Training Association.
