Felix Ejeckam

Co-Founder/CEO at Akash Systems

Felix Ejeckam has a long history of working in the technology, venture capital, and public arts sectors. Felix began their career in 1997 as an Associate at McKinsey & Company. In 1998, they Co-Founded and became the CEO of Nova Crystals, Inc. In 2003, they Co-Founded and became the CEO of Group4 Labs, Inc., which was acquired by Element Six (a De Beers Company) in 2013, where they then assumed the role of Head of the Defense & Aerospace Business. In 2014, they became the Board Co-Chair Emeritus of Illuminate The Arts, a public arts organization. From 2016 to 2021, they held various roles, including Co-Founder/CEO of Akash Systems, General Partner of Filter14, LLC (Venture Capital), and Technology Pioneer (3-year appointment) of the World Economic Forum. In 2022, they became a Board Member (California Chapter) of The Nature Conservancy.

Felix Ejeckam obtained their Ph.D. in Elec. and Comp. Eng. (Materials Science & Device Physics) from Cornell University. Felix also obtained a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (Materials Science, Laser Physics) from Cornell University. Before that, Felix Ejeckam studied Electrical & Comp. Engineering (Semiconductor Lasers) at Rice University, graduating in 1992.
