Paul Curnow

Paul Curnow is the Managing Director of Strategy and General Counsel at Akaysha Energy since October 2022. Previously, they held the position of Partner and Global Co-Head of Energy at Ashurst from April 2021 to October 2022. With a strong background in the legal aspects of renewable energy, they were also a Partner and Head of Renewable Energy Asia-Pacific at Baker & McKenzie from August 1998 to April 2021. Paul also served as the General Counsel at the Clean Energy Finance Corporation and Manager of the International Climate Change Team at the Australian Greenhouse Office. They hold a Master of Public Policy, Bachelor of Laws, and Bachelor of Arts from The Australian National University.
