Rody Hardy

Rody Hardy is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in hardware engineering and product development within the energy and medical sectors. Currently serving as the General Manager of Hardware Engineering at Akaysha Energy since June 2025, Rody supports the development and sustainability of Battery Energy Storage Systems from both Hardware and Systems perspectives. Prior roles include VP of R&D and Hardware Engineering at Powin, overseeing product engineering across multiple disciplines, and various leadership positions at Capsa Healthcare, where Rody managed diverse engineering teams focused on medical equipment design and development. Earlier experience includes roles at Columbia Helicopters and Honda Engineering North America, where Rody led projects in aircraft system integration and automotive information electronics, respectively.
