Gerrit Van Der Veen is a seasoned legal professional with a rich background in bestuursrecht, omgevingsrecht, and milieurecht. Since August 1997, Gerrit has served as a partner and advocaat at AKD, focusing on advising and litigating in areas such as subsidies and government liability. Concurrently, since May 2017, Gerrit has taken on the role of arbiter at the Nederlands Arbitrage Instituut (NAI), presiding over cases involving government liability and collaboration agreements.
