Harm Kerstholt

Harm Kerstholt is a corporate M&A partner at AKD, specializing in the energy sector with a focus on renewables such as wind, solar, and battery storage, while also engaging with next-generation technologies like hydrogen infrastructure and CCS. Prior to this role, Harm served as a partner at NautaDutilh for nearly 24 years, advising on data center deals, renewable energy projects, and complex contracts, and leading the Sustainable Business & Climate Change team. This included expertise in both US and European deal dynamics, with a strong emphasis on sustainability, ESG, and regulatory frameworks. Harm began as a corporate lawyer and initially practiced at andersen legal in the M&A and Energy & Utilities group after earning a degree from the University of Groningen.
