Thomas Sanders

Thomas Sanders is a distinguished lawyer and partner at AKD N.V. since March 2014, with extensive involvement in administrative law as a member of the board for the VAR - Dutch Administrative Law Association and an instructor in enforcement law at the Trainingscentre for the Judiciary in the Netherlands. Sanders holds editorial leadership as chairman of the editorial board of Module Administrative Law at Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory Nederland and contributes as an annotator. Additionally, Sanders serves as a university guest lecturer at Radboud University, educating students in Staats- en Bestuursrecht and Rechtsgeleerdheid. With a rich academic background, including a PhD in Administrative Law from Leiden University and postdoctoral studies in Environmental Law and Planning, Sanders has held various positions, including chairman of the bezwaarschriftencommissie at Gemeente Roermond and member of the board at Stichting Tafelronde Hulpfonds. Prior experience includes law practice at Stibbe and a PhD candidacy at Universiteit Leiden.
