Amanda Foote

Amanda Foote has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Amanda began their career as a Medical Information Associate at Genzyme in 2010 and then moved on to Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics as a Specialist in Medical Communications from 2011 to 2012. In 2012, they joined Vertex Pharmaceuticals, first as a Sr. Manager in Medical Education and then as an Associate Director in Medical Affairs. In 2016, Foote joined Akebia Therapeutics as a Director in Medical Communications, and later became the Senior Scientific Director in Clinical Development. Amanda currently holds the position of VP of R&D Operations and External Collaborations at Akebia Therapeutics. Additionally, Foote worked as a Compounding Pharmacist at Skenderian Apothecary from 2008 to 2017.

Amanda Foote attended the University of Rhode Island from 2003 to 2009, where they pursued a degree in Pharmacy. Amanda successfully completed their studies and obtained a PharmD degree in Pharmacy.
