Maria Franklin

Maria Franklin has extensive experience in equity and compliance within the biotechnology and technology sectors. At Akebia Therapeutics, Maria serves as Associate Director, Equity, and previously held the position of Principal Equity Specialist. Prior to this, Maria worked at EMC as a Sr. International Equity/Compliance Analyst, focusing on regulatory requirements for equity programs across over 75 countries and managing a mobile employee equity tax program. Earlier in Maria's career, at Genzyme, Maria directed financial reporting for global employee incentive plans and prepared regulatory financial reports. Maria's career began in the finance department at SemiTest from 1994 to 1996.
