Darshan Puranik

Darshan Puranik has worked in a variety of roles in the technology industry since 2010. In 2010, they began as a Trainee Engineer at Persistent Systems Ltd, where they developed the front-end of an application and wrote code to access the database using .net and C#. In 2011, they worked as a Software Development Intern at Bentley Systems, where they worked on two main products, Bentley Microstation and Bentley Navigator. Darshan also worked as a Research Assistant at IUPUI that same year. In 2012, they became a Senior Application Developer at Cautela Institute of Informatics and Technology, where they headed the software development team and was responsible for end-to-end product delivery. In 2013, they became an Application Developer at Interactive Intelligence, where they gathered requirements and generated Functional Requirements Specification documents. In 2015, they became the CTO at InstaTech Solutions Pvt Ltd., where they headed the software development and information technology team. In 2016, they became the CTO at Knox Innovations LLP, where they headed the multidisciplinary IoT development team and developed a Smart Liquid Dispensing device with a real-time reporting and alert system. Finally, in 2018, they became the Co-Founder and CTO at Akeed Delivery, where they lead a multidisciplinary team and is responsible for technology with a suite of apps ranging from mobile apps to monitoring systems.

Darshan Puranik's education history includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from the University of Mumbai, which they obtained from 2005 to 2009. Darshan then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Computer Science from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis from 2010 to 2013. Prior to this, Darshan attended Raja Shivaji Vidyala from 1997 to 2003. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications from Coursera Verified Certificates and Pluralsight in topics such as R Programming, Cloud Computing, and WCF Fundamentals.
