Anthi Gilligan

Anthi Gilligan has a wealth of experience in the security and IT fields. Anthi began their career in 2006 as an IT Helpdesk Analyst for Microsoft. Anthi then moved to Ulster Bank as a Lead IT Security Systems Administrator. In 2014, they joined Sysnet Global Solutions as a Principal Penetration Tester and Team Lead. In 2016, they were hired by Bank of Ireland as a Principal Enterprise Security Architect, Principal Security Architect, and Senior IT Security Consultant. In 2018, they joined Logitech as a Principal Global Application Security Engineer. In 2019, they were hired by Forcepoint as a Principal DevSecOps Engineer. In 2020, they co-founded Akeero and served as the company's CISO. In 2021, they became a member of the SANS CISO Network.

Anthi Gilligan completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science with Multimedia Systems at the University of the West of Scotland from 2000 to 2004. Anthi then obtained an MSc in Computer Systems Security from the University of South Wales in 2005. In addition, they have obtained various certifications, including a GIAC Certified Penetration Tester (GPEN) from the SANS Institute in 2019, a GIAC Web Application Penetration Tester (GWAPT) from the SANS Institute in 2018, a GDPR Foundation from IT Governance Europe Ltd in 2017, a GIAC Continuous Monitoring (GMON) from the SANS Institute in 2017, a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA in 2017, a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (ISC)\u00b2 in 2016, an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2020, a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council in 2015, an EC-Council Certified Security Analyst (ECSA) from EC-Council in 2015, and a Licensed Penetration Tester (LPT) from EC-Council in 2015.
