Jacob Sparks

Jacob’s experience in Banking and Marketing provides him with a unique perspective on the financial industry. Before joining Akemona, Jacob was with one of the nation’s fastest-growing digital marketing agencies in California, Brand Buddha. Prior to that, he was with the largest commercial bank in Orange County, Pacific Premier Bank. With this foundation, Jacob is able to bridge the gap between old and new.

While working in traditional finance, Jacob was responsible for managing and expanding the relationships of current clients while identifying new relationships with mid-market business owners and financial managers. The inefficiency between banks and hopeful borrowers was blatantly apparent. Jacob now strives to build a platform that removes the bureaucratic inefficiencies in conventional finance with modern technology and gains the trust of users through a principled brand.

Jacob holds a B.S. in Economics from the University of Louisville. As a native Kentuckian, he will never pass up the opportunity for a glass of bourbon and good conversation. He now enjoys the Southern California lifestyle with his wife, Bailey, in San Clemente.
