Tedde van Gelderen has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Tedde began their career at Philips Design, where they served as a Human Factors Specialist and later as an Information Ergonomics Scientist. Following this, they worked at KPMG Management Consulting as a Manager in the Human Performance Technology group, focusing on electronic performance support systems and eLearning solutions. Tedde then moved on to Nortel Networks as a Design Manager before joining Maskery as the Vice President of User Experience. At Maskery, they provided usability consulting and played a crucial role in Human Interaction Engineering. Tedde later became a Member of the Board at Innovators Alliance. Currently, they are associated with Akendi as the President, where they focus on creating remarkable user experiences through the Experience Thinking approach. Additionally, Tedde is an Instructor at Experience Thinkers, the next generation of UX Training and Certification. Through their roles, they have contributed significantly to the field of user experience and has trained numerous professionals in best practices for human-centered design.
Tedde van Gelderen obtained a High School Diploma in General Studies from Goois Lyceum in 1986. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Cognitive Psychology from Radboud University, which they completed in 1992. Additionally, they received a certification in CXS from Akendi in 2007.
