Dave Getchonis

Dave Getchonis has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Dave is currently the Head of Americas Solution Engineering at Akeneo, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this, Dave worked as a Career Advisor at PreSales Academy and as a Leadership Member at PreSales Collective, both in 2021. Dave also has experience at Zendesk, where they served as the Americas Professional Services Enterprise Solution Architect Director and later as the Americas and LATAM Professional Services Enterprise Solution Architect Director from 2021 to 2022. Before joining Zendesk, Dave held various positions at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, including HPE Pointnext Services North America Hybrid IT Presales Director and North America Transformation Solutions Director from 2015 to 2020. Prior to that, Dave worked at HP in roles such as US Cloud Presales Director, US CloudSystem Presales Manager, and Enterprise Architect. Dave started their career at HP as an Enterprise Account Manager in 2003.

Dave Getchonis earned a B.A. Cum Laude degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Rochester. Dave also obtained various certifications, including Product Experience Advisor Certification from Akeneo, INTRIGUE Storytelling Workshop Certificate from INTRIGUE Communications & Coaching, and certifications from Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, and Coursera Certified Courses. Dave has certifications in cloud computing, design thinking, innovation, and software management.
