Katarzyna Podlas

Katarzyna Podlas is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in laboratory management and quality control, currently serving as the Technology and Development Lab Manager at Aker BioMarine ASA since January 2015. In this role, Katarzyna oversees laboratory operations, manages a team, and participates in the development of analytical methods while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Previous positions include QC Manager, where Katarzyna led a team in analytical testing and compliance, and QC Technician, where foundational skills in laboratory techniques were developed. Katarzyna holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Ecology and Evolution from the University of Bern, a Master's degree in Ecology and Ethology, and a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Protection, further complemented by intern experiences in various academic settings.
