Lars Jacobsen

Lars Jacobsen serves as the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Aker BioMarine ASA since March 2017, bringing extensive legal expertise to the role. Previously, Lars held the position of Legal Counsel in Corporate Legal at Wilh. Wilhelmsen Holding ASA from September 2014 to March 2017 and worked as a Senior Associate and Associate at Advokatfirmaet Selmer DA from February 2007 to September 2014. Early in the career, Lars completed legal traineeships at the Norwegian Ministry of Finance and Telenor ASA in 2006. Lars holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in M&A, Corporate, and Finance from Columbia Law School, an Cand. jur / Master at Law degree in Corporate Law from the University of Oslo, and has completed elective subjects in Contract Law at the University of Southampton.
