Andreas Thuve

Andreas Thuve is a seasoned engineer specializing in completion engineering, currently serving as a Senior Completion Engineer at Aker BP ASA since March 2023. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Engineer for Drilling & Well Operations at Equinor from August 2018 to March 2023, focusing on completion engineering for the Johan Sverdrup Phase 2 project and managing completion design for subsea wells. Andreas has held various engineering positions at Equinor involving digital initiatives and project management related to drilling operations. Earlier experiences include internships at Statoil and Rystad Energy, along with academic roles at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) assisting with mathematics and mechanics. Andreas holds a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from NTNU, supplemented by an exchange program in Petroleum Engineering at the University of Oklahoma.
