Anne Skjaerstein

Anne Skjaerstein is an accomplished professional in petroleum engineering with extensive experience in reservoir development and exploration. Currently serving as VP of Exploration and Reservoir Development at Aker BP ASA since October 2022, Skjaerstein has held various key roles at Lundin Petroleum and Lundin Norway AS, including Reservoir Engineering Manager and Senior Reservoir Engineer, focusing on subsurface leadership for the Edvard Grieg project. Skjaerstein also briefly functioned as Reservoir Development Director at Lundin Energy Norway AS and has a solid background with DEA Norge AS and Norsk Hydro ASA, where contributions spanned production engineering, geomechanics, and project management. An alumnus of the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Skjaerstein holds a degree in Physics.
