Christian Borsheim Jacobsen

Christian Borsheim Jacobsen serves as the Value Stream Manager at Aker BP ASA, with responsibilities focused on enhancing the digital well design and engineering workflow since December 2016. Previous roles include Senior Drilling Engineer, Product Owner for the Digital Well Program (DWP), and Lead Drilling Engineer for the Ærfugl PDO Project. Christian's experience encompasses operational drilling engineering, well planning for subsea wells, and spearheading digitization initiatives to streamline the well planning process. Prior experience at BP involved various drilling engineering roles, including operational drilling engineer and trainee positions, contributing to subsea developments and drilling campaigns. Christian holds a Master’s degree in Petroleum Technology from the University of Stavanger, completed in 2007.
