Christian Tangen

Christian Tangen is an experienced operations manager currently serving as the Operations Manager for Integrated Planning at Aker BP ASA since September 2021. Previously, Christian held various positions at Aker BP, including Platformsjef and Asset Operations Manager for Valhall, where responsibilities included the operational management of the Valhall field. Christian's career began with BP Norway AS in 2004, progressing from a Mechanical Equipment Engineer to roles such as Offshore Production Supervisor and Engineering Service Mechanical Team Lead. Christian holds a Master's Degree in Heat and Mass Transfer from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and has studied at the University of California, Berkeley.
