Ida Gjerde

Ida Gjerde is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in process engineering and project management in the oil and gas sector. Currently serving as a Project Engineer at Aker BP ASA since February 2021, Ida also holds the position of Senior Prosessingeniør at Jefferson Wells Norge since October 2020, after a brief tenure in the same role at ScaleAQ. Previous experience includes a significant role as Senior Process Engineer at Det norske oljeselskap ASA from December 2014 to August 2020, where responsibilities encompassed process simulations, decommissioning, and cost estimation. Ida's earlier career features a long tenure at Aibel, which involved various engineering roles, including MC&Commissioning Leader and Interface Coordinator, alongside work as an Operational Engineer for Statoil. Ida Gjerde holds a Master's degree in Energy and Environmental Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), obtained between 2001 and 2007.
