Paul Reid

Paul Reid has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Vice President of Concept Development at Aker BP ASA since August 2018, following roles as Subsurface Manager for Reservoir Developments and Lead Geologist in Reservoir Characterisation. Prior experience includes over 16 years at bp, where Paul Reid held various positions, including North Sea Geology Discipline Lead and Lead Geologist for the West of Shetlands, and as Subsurface Lead for the Valhall West Flank Project, among others. Paul's career began at bp as an Operations Technician in the North Sea. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Reservoir Evaluation from Heriot-Watt University and a BSc Hons in Petroleum Geology from the University of Aberdeen.
