Paulius Sakys

Paulius Sakys is a seasoned telecommunications engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as a Senior Telecommunications Engineer at Aker BP ASA, managing the Yggdrasil Project and leading telecommunications for the Hugin B initiative since June 2023. Previous positions include Telecom Lead at Equinor for the UK Extension wind power project and Senior Telecom Engineer roles at Aibel and Global Eagle, where expertise was developed in various systems including PAGA, CCTV, and inflight connectivity solutions. Paulius's career began at PetroMarker and has included significant contributions to numerous projects with top companies in telecommunications engineering, underpinned by a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from Vilnius Gediminas Technical University.
