Torbjørn Tidemann

Torbjørn Tidemann is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as the Vice President of Business Finance at Aker BP ASA since March 2022. Prior to this role, Tidemann was the Chairman of the Board of Trustees at A/S Norske Shells Pensjonskasse from January 2018 to March 2022 and served as CFO of A/S Norske Shell from June 2017 to March 2022. Tidemann's extensive experience at Shell spans from December 2005 to June 2017 in various positions, including Finance Manager for Iraq Projects, Manager of Planning, Appraisal & Capital Budgeting, Senior Strategy & Portfolio Advisor, and Senior Economist. Tidemann holds a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School, has completed the Advanced Negotiators Program at Harvard Business School, and earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Stavanger.
