Warakoon Ruksanor

Warakoon Ruksanor is an experienced petroleum engineer currently serving as an Advanced Petroleum Engineer at Aker BP ASA since May 2023. With a robust background in production technology, Warakoon previously held the position of Senior Production Technologist at Petroleum Development Oman from February 2019 to January 2023. Prior roles include Sr. Production Technologist positions at A/S Norske Shell from August 2013 to January 2019 and at Sakhalin Energy from May 2008 to July 2013. Warakoon began the professional journey as a Production Technologist at Shell from May 2002 to April 2008, where initial responsibilities included roles as a well analyst and Junior Production Technologist. Warakoon holds a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering from Chulalongkorn University earned between 1998 and 2002.
