Eiliv Gjesdal

Eiliv Gjesdal (born 1970) joined Aker Energy in 2018.

Mr. Gjesdal has 10 years experience as chief group controller of Aker Solutions ASA and CFO of MH Wirth before being the CFO of Kvaerner ASA for five years. Before joining Aker Energy, Mr. Gjesdal worked a year for Seatankers Management on the re-financing of Seadrill. He is a state authorised public accountant and started his career as an auditor for Arthur Andersen & Co working with large Norwegian companies.

Mr. Gjesdal holds an M.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) in Bergen, Norway. Mr. Gjesdal is a Norwegian citizen.
