Aker Energy
Mr. Håvard Garseth (born 1956) started as CEO in Aker Energy in April 2020.
He comes from the position of CEO TRG Energy, and before that was Managing Director of Aker Floating Production.
Previously Mr Garseth was the company’s Senior Vice President and Operation Manager and Project Manager for the FPSO Dhirubhai-1. Prior to this he has held various positions in Vetco Aibel (2000 – 2006) most recently as Manager Projects and Services, in Technology and Products department. He has also worked in Shell International (Holland, Oman and Djibouti) and Saga Petroleum in Norway.
Mr Garseth is a graduate of the Norwegian institute of Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim and holds a Master Degree (Msc) in Petroleum Engineering.
Håvard Garseth is a Norwegian citizen.

Aker Energy AS was founded in February 2018 and is established as the newest member of the Aker Group. The E&P company aims to become the offshore oil and gas operator of choice in Ghana. It is characterized by the entrepreneurial and flexible organization that is synonymous with member companies of the Aker Group. Aker Energy is now operational with offices in Oslo and Accra, the capital of Ghana.
