Sverre Skogen (born 1956) has more than 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
He has been CEO at Aker Maritime/Aker Kværner 1997 – 2003, Executive Vice President at PGS Floating Production 2003 – 2005, CEO at AGR Group 2005 – 2012 and Executive Chairman/Chairman at Det norske oljeselskap ASA (now Aker BP ASA) 2013 – 2016.
He has also Board and investment positions in various companies in the sector. Mr. Skogen is a Norwegian citizen.

Aker Energy
Aker Energy AS was founded in February 2018 and is established as the newest member of the Aker Group. The E&P company aims to become the offshore oil and gas operator of choice in Ghana. It is characterized by the entrepreneurial and flexible organization that is synonymous with member companies of the Aker Group. Aker Energy is now operational with offices in Oslo and Accra, the capital of Ghana.
