Erik Risvold Ystgård

Erik Risvold Ystgård has worked in various financial and investment analysis roles within the renewable energy industry. Erik Risvold is currently an Investment Associate at Aker Horizons, starting in August 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Investment Analysis at Aker Offshore Wind from November 2021 to July 2022, and was a Senior Financial Analyst at the same company from August 2020 to February 2022. Before joining Aker Offshore Wind, Erik worked as a Senior Financial Analyst at Aker Solutions from September 2019 to July 2020. Erik Risvold also gained experience at Ørsted, where they served as a Senior Financial Analyst in Investment Analysis for the Offshore department from June 2019 to August 2019, and as a Financial Analyst in Investment Analysis for the Offshore department from November 2017 to May 2019. Erik began their career as a Summer Intern in Market Analysis at Statoil in 2017 and as a Summer Intern in Wind O&M at Statkraft in 2016. Erik Risvold also served as a Patrol Leader (Lance Corporal) in the Norwegian Armed Forces from July 2010 to July 2011.

Erik Risvold Ystgård completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Bergen (UiB) in the years 2012-2015. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Energy Finance & Markets from the University of Edinburgh, where they studied from 2016 to 2017. In addition, they also had an academic exposure to Renewable Energy at NMBU - Norwegian University of Life Sciences from 2014 to 2015, though the specific degree obtained during this period is unspecified.
