Knut Vrålstad

Knut Vrålstad has extensive work experience in strategic market analysis, carbon finance, risk analysis, and economics. Knut is currently the Head of strategic market analysis at Aker Horizons, responsible for analyzing power markets, carbon markets, hydrogen, and more. Prior to this, they worked at Statkraft as the Head of strategic market analysis for continental Europe, where they managed a team and developed power market forecasting models. Knut also held the role of Risk Analyst, conducting quantitative risk analysis for hydropower projects. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Originator at Statkraft, a Senior Advisor at the Norwegian Ministry of Trade and Industry, and held positions at ECON Analysis as a Partner and Senior Economist.
