Nina Nødland

Nina R. is an experienced public health professional with a background in mosquito control and food safety. Currently serving as a Public Health Inspector at the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit since May 2020, Nina R. has held various positions, including Graduate and Student Public Health Inspector, and has focused on vector-borne surveillance by conducting mosquito monitoring using CDC light and BG-Sentinel 2 traps. Prior experience includes work as a Food Service operator at Glen Cedar Montessori, where compliance with food safety regulations was essential, and as a Mosquito Control Technician at the Canadian Centre for Mosquito Management, where frontline operations for West Nile Virus control were performed. Nina R. holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Public Health and Safety from Ryerson University, a Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety from The G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education at Toronto Metropolitan University, and an Ontario College Diploma in Culinary Management from George Brown College.
