Knut Sørhøy

Knut Sørhøy has extensive work experience in the oil and gas industry. Knut began their career in 2006 with FMC Technologies, where they worked as a System Engineer and later as an Engineering Manager. Knut received recognition for their work on the Tyrihans SPS project, including the Deep Offshore Technology Five Star Award. In 2010, they joined Aker Solutions as an Engineering Manager, handling various projects in the North Sea, Africa, Asia, and Brazil. Knut held several leadership positions within Aker Solutions, including Vice President roles in System & Product Engineering, Head of Engineering for the Subsea division in Malaysia, and Head of System & Product Engineering for the APAC region. Knut'smost recent role at Aker Solutions is Vice President for Renewables Execution Systems, CCUS, Hydrogen, WIND, and AquaCulture.

Knut Sørhøy obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Technology Sydney from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Sør-Trøndelag University College (HiST) between 2000 and 2003.
