Scott Meyers is the Chairman and CEO of Akerman LLP, a position held since February 2020, during which Akerman has achieved record revenue and profit, outpacing the legal industry's average growth rate in multiple key metrics. In addition to this leadership role, Scott serves as the Managing Partner overseeing daily operations across 24 offices and as the Chicago Office Managing Partner, focusing on complex commercial litigation, regulatory investigations, and employment disputes. Scott Meyers has a robust legal background with prior positions at notable firms, including partner roles at Ulmer & Berne LLP, Levenfeld Pearlstein, LLC, and Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg LLP, as well as an associate role at Kirkland and Ellis. Scott holds a JD from Georgetown University Law Center and a B.S. in Economics from The Wharton School.
