Kimberly Barrett

Kimberly Barrett has a diverse work experience in the field of clinical data management. Kimberly currently holds the position of Director, Clinical Data Management at Akero Therapeutics since July 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Associate Director, Clinical Data Management at the same company from May 2021 to June 2023.

Before joining Akero Therapeutics, Kimberly had a long tenure at Medpace. Kimberly held various roles including Sr. Director of Operation, Core Laboratories from June 2018 to May 2021, Director, Cardiovascular Core Laboratory from September 2006 to June 2018, Associate Director, Data Management from December 2006 to March 2018, and Data Manager from December 1999 to December 2006. Their responsibilities in these roles included leading project teams, overseeing laboratory operations, managing data management activities, and creating standard operating procedures and guidelines.
