Clinical Research and Development

The Clinical Research and Development team at Akero Therapeutics is responsible for designing, conducting, and overseeing clinical trials aimed at evaluating the safety and efficacy of efruxifermin (EFX) as a treatment for non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH). This interdisciplinary team manages all aspects of clinical program execution, including protocol development, data management, statistical analysis, and ensuring regulatory compliance to advance Akero's drug candidates through the clinical pipeline.
