Suresh Sathyamurthy

Suresh Sathyamurthy has extensive work experience in marketing and advisory roles. Suresh is currently serving as the Chief Marketing Officer at Akeyless Security since 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Board Advisor at VenElite, where they provided guidance on fundraising, product, and marketing strategy. Suresh also served as a Board Advisor at Factors.AI, advising the founders and CXOs on product and go-to-market strategy.

Suresh has been involved in the academic sector as well, serving as an Employer Advisory Board Member at the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business since 2018. Suresh has also held prominent marketing leadership roles at various companies, including SingleStore as the Chief Marketing Officer, where they were responsible for all marketing, developer relations, and product-led growth initiatives.

At Palo Alto Networks, Suresh served as the CMO/SVP Marketing, overseeing network security and cloud-delivered security services. Suresh was also responsible for portfolio marketing of broader Palo Alto Networks security products.

Prior to that, they worked at Intuitive as the Senior Vice President of Product Management & Marketing and at Dell EMC in various leadership roles, including Vice President and Senior Director, where they led product marketing, field marketing, integrated marketing, and communications for emerging technologies and infrastructure solutions divisions.

Early in their career, Suresh was associated with Microsoft Corporation, where they held several significant positions, such as Business Group Head of Product Management & Marketing for Microsoft Azure and Group Manager of Product Management & Marketing for core IT infrastructure. Suresh played a vital role in the development and marketing of Azure as one of Microsoft's fastest-growing products.

Suresh Sathyamurthy has completed a General Management Program at Harvard Business School. Suresh also obtained an MBA with a focus on Strategy and Marketing from the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business. Prior to that, Suresh achieved a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communication from Bharathiar University.
