Tammy Knight

Tammy Knight is a seasoned logistics and procurement professional with extensive experience in supply chain management. Currently serving as Logistics Manager at AKG of America since March 2023, Tammy oversees international freight and the procurement of inter-company subassemblies. Prior to this role, Tammy was Purchasing Manager at Albaad USA Inc. from 2005 to February 2023, where responsibilities included negotiating prices, lead times, and payment terms for raw materials using an MRP system. Earlier career experiences include serving as Buyer/Planner at New Filcas of America Gift Wrap (2001-2005), focusing on raw material procurement and production scheduling, and Planning Coordinator at Glen Raven Mills, LLC (1998-2000), where Tammy created master schedules for multiple manufacturing plants to optimize operations according to sales forecasts and customer orders. Education was completed at Rockingham Community College.
