Michele Finotto

Michele Finotto has worked in the tech industry since 2004. In 2006, they co-founded Wonsys S.r.l., a Ruby on Rails agency in Italy, and served as the Chairman. Michele also co-founded 16bugs, a bug tracker as a service developed in Ruby on Rails and MySQL plus Memcached for caching, and served as the Founder. In 2011, Finotto co-founded Ameles S.r.l. and served as the Chairman. Michele was responsible for the startup of the project and managed the import/export of goods between Italy and the USA, as well as brand development. In 2012, Finotto co-founded I am coffee and served as the CEO. From 2013 to 2016, they worked as a freelance Web Developer, specializing in developing Go and Ruby on Rails services. In 2016, they joined NearIT mobile as a Lead Backend Developer, focusing on scaling the platform to handle the increasing load. In 2022, they joined Akiflow as a Senior Backend Developer and EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG as a Senior Backend Developer.

Michele Finotto began their educational journey in 1998, graduating from I.T.I.S. "P. Paleocapa" Bergamo with a Maturità Tecnica as Computer Technician in the field of Computer Science in 2003. Michele then pursued a degree in Biomedical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano from 2003 to 2004, before ultimately graduating from the same university with a degree in Computer Engineering in 2008.
