Brittany Acosta has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Brittany started their career as a Design Intern at HVS in 2013, where they developed plans and collaborated with the Principal Designer on design drawings and furniture specifications. Brittany also created elevations, sections, and plans using Revit and CAD.

In 2015, Brittany worked as an Interior Design Consultant at Nest301, analyzing client needs, creating plans and specifications, and ensuring projects were completed within budget and timeline. Brittany also conducted site visits and selected furniture and finish palettes for client presentations.

From 2016 to 2020, Brittany worked at Linowes Design Associates, Inc. as an Interior Designer. In this role, they collaborated directly with the lead designer on Class A multi-family projects, oversaw projects from start to finish, and ensured compliance with commercial codes and policies. Their responsibilities included space planning, coordination with architects, selecting and specifying FF&E, and handling purchasing and order processing.

From 2020 to 2023, Brittany worked as a Project Manager at Talu, where they successfully managed projects and contributed to their successful completion.

In addition to their professional experience, Brittany was also involved as a Student Member in IIDA (Mid-Atlantic Chapter) and NEWH (Washington DC Chapter) from 2011 to 2015.

Before their professional career, Brittany participated in design competitions as a Student Designer at Montgomery College. Brittany was involved in the Employee Cafe renovation project at the Hyatt Regency Hotel and the Student Design House Competition, where they worked in groups to create showrooms that were displayed for six months.

Brittany Acosta completed their education journey with a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design from the Corcoran School of the Arts and Design at The George Washington University, from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained an Associates degree in Interior Design from Montgomery College, studying from 2010 to 2012.
