Michael Bolton

Michael Bolton is an experienced IT and eLearning professional with a robust background in strategic IT management and educational technology. Currently serving as the IT Support Manager for Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP in Abu Dhabi and Dubai since March 2013, Bolton collaborates with the CIO to align IT strategy with firm objectives, developing a tailored technology roadmap for the Middle Eastern offices. Previously, Bolton contributed as an eLearning Consultant for King Faisal Specialist Hospital and XpertLearning, focusing on training staff and competency mapping. With extensive experience in leading eLearning initiatives at Higher Colleges of Technology and the University of Leeds, Bolton has successfully managed significant projects, including a £9 million implementation of a new eLearning environment. Bolton holds a BSc in Business Information Systems from Sheffield Hallam University.
